Cardstv Challenge.

Here is my entry for the final cardtv challenge of the year..

Cardstock...

Now I know I need cardstock like I need another hole in the head
 but a couple years ago when Michaels re did the paper craft area
they did get rid of a few colors I liked,granted they have brought
out some new colors i happen to like to.Joanns did carry them so
I thought i was safe.Imagine my happiness when I found out that
they were shipping to Canada.

Each week I'd look,hoping they would be onsale nothing,I did however
notice that the section was getting smaller.

I was just looking and saw the area had again shrunk(grr)I happen to
look to the bottom and saw under stuff I might also like was another brand
 core'dinations  and they had paper AND colors I liked.So now I got
another brand to look for on sale..

Have you ever tried Candis?a legless brad made from strudy paper.I bought some for a friends BDay a few months back and a pack for me to try,well.I am hooked they are awsome! No more cutting off them annoying backs.I found mine at custom crops,for a resonable price to.

Green Wednesday!

Today was the Black Friday sale at Michaels here in Canada.
since alot of stores are just starting to follow this trend I'll call
it green Wednesday though most stuff was the same as the stores
down south.
I was lucky to get a couple of spellbinders,ribbon,paper,and photoboxes.

now to wait till black friday and then cyber Monday.

Well I got to say I feel a tad sorry for thc crafters in the US.I saw the ads for Black Friday and they sure didn't knock me off my feet as they have in previous years.Now Michaels as well as Joann's will have cricut cartiages for a deal.I have found a few places online having deals and will take advantage.

Wow,I swear I didn't forget about this,just very busy.working on getting cards done,looks like I have a slight repreieve but gonna keep working..

Yes,I'm still around just trying to get as many cards done as possible for the sales,man just a few weeks away for the first one..Kinda scary.

I am not on as much as i'm trying to work my butt off to get more cards made for my sales coming up.I promise to have somthing soon to share.

I'm Back..

I know I been missing but had computer issues these past few weeks and now think I am back..

Computers...UGHHHH

So I been AWOL because of my computer.It's still being fixed,but, I got the desktop I can use,plus a playbook..which for the record I don't care for.On the plus side I'm getting more cards finished which is a good thing.I am however lost..Totally understand the saying don't miss it,till it's gone...man...

I entered a contest through my Stampin Up demonstrator the other day to win the 2012-2014 in color stampin right markers and some cardstock,well I won!!!! Wahoo me...

I know Stampin Up probably don't need anymore promos.... But heres another.....The New Christmas Book...OMG...I think I will be heavily in debt to SU!!!!!!!!!! add in the stuff I want in the book that was just released in June..oyy.. Don't think this girl will be getting her coach bag anytime soon.lol They haven't even released the Christmas stuff from companys like Penny Black.I'm kinda hoping that Michaels has the huge stack of 8.5x11 240 page pattrened paper in a Christmas/Winter theme this year,I can add it to the mass thats collecting in my xmas tote thats spilling onto the floor and other various places.

Ok Ok I know it's kinda early,but yesturday when I was at M i saw the aisle with Christmas stuff and stopped to look,well they happen to have some new paper and since they have a 50 right now i just had to buy,went back today and picked up the other 2.They also have a 12x12 That I might go back to get..

Reflection Technique

Here is another idea I found while sitting and watching You Tube...It's called the reflection technique,now I saw it with all stampin up products,but you can use other stamps and inks again please head over to you tube and tybe in "Reflection Technique"By clicking on Reflection Technique this was the video i found most informative.

Pop-Up Card

I have done several idea and techniques  in the past,however only a few have super impressed me.The pop up idea did scare me at first but I sat and watched You Tube and thought I had it enough to try and well VOLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this show had its big debt last night on TLC, Not sure if it was on up here or not. Much to my shock this show from what I have read was kinda met with mixed reactions from alot of people.Why do you think this is???

I do admit i got a few obsessions in life.From Chapstick and Coffee to Handbags Stamps and Paper!!I made the mistake of poping into Michaels last Friday to looks I knew they had coupon Saturday.Well long story short they had a few new things including a  240page  8.5x 11 pad in the recollections brand (sorry no pic)called "All Season",ery cute pad!!! This got me thinking how they will probably have some very cute Christmas paper.Which I know i do not need but will buy.

A few weeks ago I was told I "Had" to go to Michaels not knowing why I went over and discovered they had NEW cardstock!!!!!! Trying to contain my joy was hard,but since they all know me In M's it was allowed..Being extremely low on cardstock.(ok if you know me you know this to be NOT true...LOL)I brought myself to buying a "few"

My entry for the Cardz Tv Challenge:  Challenge #6 "Anything Goes!" scratch the Cheries They smell like Cheries!! Yup a Scratch and Sniff card...IT WORKED! Very happy it did..

 I did find the videos on You Tube to be very helpful..I think I just put in scented cards.

So I sit at night looking at you tube trying to find some new card ideas to try,well i happen to come across this technique called the 'reflection' technique,well i gave it a try...Above is a picture of how it turned out.I was ver impressed....
